Steve Hall worked for over a decade in Marine Policy before becoming SUT CEO, in today’s lunchtime training webinar Steve will introduce the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, & how it determines which activities can be carried out within 12 miles, 200 miles, or 350 miles of the coast, and the regime for areas beyond national jurisdiction. He’ll also introduce how countries like the UK are bringing in marine spatial planning laws, and how these impact industries such as offshore renewables, offshore hydrocarbons, seismic survey, deployment of robots and human divers.

Training certificates will be available for anyone who requires one.
