John Grapiglia
John Grapiglia graduated as an Electronics Engineer in 1980 from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Started work for what was then Telecom (Melbourne) in their cable protection section, with the role of protecting the lead sheathed cable network from various forms of damage including stray DC currents and lightning. John has been involved in a variety of cathodic protection projects, ranging from onshore pipelines and structures, reinforced concrete structures, and offshore projects. The project locations include Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, UK and Pakistan. He is currently a Principal Engineer and Company Director for Corrosion Control Engineering (WA) Pty Ltd.
