Sam is currently employed by Castrol Offshore as the Subsea Technical Service Engineer, Asia Pacific region. He provides technical support & specialist training relating to Subsea Control Fluids for Operators, OEM’s and third party service companies. Sam’s 15 years experience with hydraulics, spans from engineering design and fabrication to onsite commissioning and operational roles across the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors in New Zealand and Australia. Sam has Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering and CAD from Christchurch Polytechnic and Trade qualification as a Fitter. Turner, Machinist. Sam currently delivers the Subsea Control Fluids portion of the SUT Subsea Awareness Courses in Perth and SE Asia.
